Seeking to Help the Needy

The congregation seeks to help the poor and needy in the area and overseas. The congregation collects food and raises money for the following activities: 

  • The 2023 Southwest Suburban CROP Hunger Walk was held in October and the route was around Lake Katherine in Palos Heights.
 
  • Royal Family Kids Camps  
 
  • Elsie's Food Pantry
 
  • Loud Offering for supporting mission of Metropolitan Chicago Synod.
 
  • ELCA: God's Work. Our Hands.   (2023 project helped support Beds-Plus with laundry kits)

Participation in the Southwest CROP Walk  (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) held at Lake Katherine Trail on October 2 of 2022.
